ABOUT MIMM

Mimm Clothing Shop was set up in 2010 by a young entrepreneur with the help of The Princes Trust.

Based in the center of Nottingham's creative district Hockley, Mimm, which stands for 'Music is My Motive', has branched out into a number of different fields: offering the best in forward thinking music events, in-store art exhibitions and an eclectic vinyl based record label promoting the best international talent.

This is the Mimm blog which is home to a team of writers who seek to seam together news on the finest artists who make up the fabric in music, clothing and art around the world.

In our endless aim to seam together the finest creative fabrics in Nottingham we bring you the third installment of Nottingham Creative Culture. Housed in Nottingham’s Contemporary Gallery Mimm’s third curative effort will bring together music from Wigflex, Lost Boys Club, Dealmaker, Dsconctd and of course Mimm.



Our quarterly creative showcase also contains live art from the likes of Dilk, Shrunken Heads, Rikki Finn, Jimmy Summit, Mac, Simz, Pretty Crafty and FTS who will be littering the vicinity with their own pieces.

Oh yeah, and it’s ALL FREE.
